About Our Injury Law Firm
The Harris Firm was founded by Attorney Steven A. Harris as a statewide law firm that helps individuals throughout Alabama that have been injured and need to recover for their damages or obtain Social Security benefits. These types of cases are worked on a contingency fee basis. That is where our attorneys work for nothing up front and only get paid a certain percentage out of any monetary award or settlement you get for your claim.
Attorney Steven A. Harris
Steven Harris has helped individuals throughout the State of Alabama get justice for their injuries and get awarded Social Security benefits. He practices extensively in both the Alabama State Court and the Federal Court systems.
Mr. Harris practices mainly in the areas of Social Security, personal injury, and defective products. He represents clients in courts throughout the State of Alabama and places particular emphasis on obtaining the best possible outcome, while also reducing the stress on the client and making the legal process as informative as possible for them as well.
Mr. Harris is originally from Jefferson County, Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for undergraduate school and after that attended Samford University, Cumberland School of Law, where he graduated with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 2007. He is licensed to practice in all Alabama State Courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama.
Mr. Harris is also a member of the Alabama Bar Association, Birmingham Bar Association, the Central and North Alabama Better Business Bureau, Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce, and the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce. He founded the law firm with the hopes of allowing more people access to legal representation.
Mr. Harris prides himself in being available for any questions that potential clients may have. He can do all consultations over the phone or via video conference and can be available almost anytime during the day by appointment.
Attorney Jason C. Overton
Attorney Jason C. Overton has represented individuals across the State of Alabama for well over a decade. He proudly represents clients in personal injury matters across Central and Northern Alabama. He practices mainly in the areas of personal injury, vehicle accidents, and premises liability while striving to help individuals and families through the most difficult times in their lives.
Mr. Overton grew up in the City of Gardendale and now lives in Walker County, Alabama with his family. He attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for undergraduate school and graduated from the Birmingham School of Law with Juris Doctorate (JD) degree before completing the Alabama Bar Exam.
We are always willing to work with potential clients and Mr. Overton routinely works around their schedule to give consultations. He also is sympathetic to being transparent and accessible to our injury clients and will be with you every step of the way through your insurance claim or lawsuit.
Mr. Overton is licensed to practice law in all Alabama Courts and the United States District Court, Northern District of Alabama. Attorney John Tyler Winans
Tyler Winans proudly represents personal injury and workers compensation clients in and around Montgomery County, Alabama. He is committed to helping families through the most difficult times in their lives. Mr. Winans can meet you in our Prattville, Millbrook, or Montgomery office, and is always available for a quick consultation over the phone if that is more convenient for you.
Mr. Winans was born and raised in Texas. After finishing school in South Texas, he attended Sul Ross State University. While there, he received his B.S. in Business Administration. Later he attended Jones School of Law in Montgomery, AL and received his Juris Doctorate (JD) degree before passing the Alabama State Bar Exam.
Mr. Winans is a proud member of the Montgomery Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar. Tyler is known to compete in professional rodeos in Montgomery and throughout the State of Alabama from time to time and is a real-life cowboy in his personal time.
